Emoji-style Face Maker

Create a simple emoji-style face PNG with a smile, frown, surprised expression or wink, a chosen face color, and a transparent background.

Make a simple face illustration for a mockup, message attachment or personal graphic. Choose a smile, frown, surprised expression or wink, then set its face color and square output size. The image uses original geometric shapes and downloads as a transparent PNG.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose one of the four facial expressions.
  2. Enter a three- or six-digit HEX face color.
  3. Set a whole-number size from 64 to 1024 pixels.
  4. Inspect the preview and download the PNG.

Formula

Output width = output height = selected size; all face shapes scale from a 256 × 256 drawing

The circular face and dark features are drawn onto a fresh transparent canvas. The same geometry scales together so changing the image size does not change its proportions. PNG preserves the transparent area around the face.

Example

Choosing 256 pixels, the smile expression and #FFD54F produces a 256 × 256 PNG with a yellow face and transparent corners. Selecting 64 pixels produces the same layout at one quarter of each linear dimension.

Using the file

Save the PNG and upload it wherever image attachments are supported. An application can impose its own file-size or dimension limits. This tool makes the drawing only; it does not publish it to another service.

Frequently asked questions

Will it become an emoji on my keyboard?

No. The output is an image file. It does not register a Unicode character or install a keyboard entry; an app may let you upload it as a custom image or sticker.

Can I use a transparent background?

The background is already transparent. The face itself is opaque. The chosen HEX value changes only its fill, while eyes and mouth remain dark.

Why does a small version look softer?

Curved edges are antialiased on the pixel grid. A larger original can help for editing, but a small final display still has limited detail. Preview the actual size you intend to use.
