Robux to CAD Calculator

Convert Robux to Canadian dollars at the official DevEx rate ($0.0038 USD per Robux) and your USD-CAD rate, and compare it with what you pay to buy Robux.

The default is an illustrative rate, not a live quote. Enter today’s rate from your bank for an accurate figure.
Fill this in to compare the DevEx value with what buying the same Robux costs you.

This calculator answers two different questions Canadians ask about Robux: what earned Robux are worth when a creator cashes them out through the Developer Exchange (DevEx), and what the same Robux cost to buy. DevEx pays a fixed US-dollar rate per Robux, so the Canadian-dollar figure depends on the exchange rate you enter.

How to use this tool

  1. Enter the number of Robux.
  2. Pick the DevEx rate that applies to those Robux (most are on the standard rate).
  3. Enter today’s USD-to-CAD exchange rate.
  4. Optionally enter the price and size of a Robux package from your Roblox app to compare buying cost with cash-out value.

Formula

CAD = Robux × DevEx rate (USD per Robux) × exchange rate (CAD per USD)

The standard DevEx rate is $0.0038 USD per Earned Robux. Robux earned before September 5, 2025 cash out at $0.0035 and are exchanged before standard-rate balances; eligible U.S. 18+ balances take priority. Since June 8, 2026, a $0.0054 rate applies only to certain Robux from purchases (developer products, passes, subscriptions, private servers) made by age-verified U.S. players 18 or older in eligible experiences.

Example

30,000 Earned Robux × $0.0038 = $114.00 USD, the amount Roblox itself quotes for the minimum cash-out. At 1.39 CAD per USD that is 114 × 1.39 = CA$158.46, or about CA$5.28 per 1,000 Robux.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cash out Robux I bought?

No. DevEx only exchanges Earned Robux, such as Robux from game passes, developer products or items you sell. Robux you bought yourself, including with gift cards, do not qualify.

What do I need to use DevEx?

Roblox requires you to be at least 13, have a verified email address, hold at least 30,000 Earned Robux, have a DevEx portal account with tax forms on file, and follow the Terms of Use.

Why is the buying price so much higher than the DevEx value?

The buying price covers Roblox’s costs and margin and, on phones and consoles, the store’s fee, while DevEx pays creators a fixed rate. Enter a package price to see the gap for your own purchase.

Which exchange rate should I use?

Use the rate your bank or payout provider gives for converting US dollars to Canadian dollars on the day you cash out; mid-market rates you see online are usually slightly better than what you receive.
