Robux to AUD Calculator
Convert Robux to Australian dollars at the official DevEx rate ($0.0038 USD per Robux) and your USD-AUD rate, and compare it with the cost of buying Robux.
Australian players and creators usually want one of two numbers: what earned Robux pay out through Roblox’s Developer Exchange (DevEx), or what buying Robux costs. DevEx pays a fixed rate in US dollars, so this calculator converts that payout to Australian dollars with the exchange rate you enter, and compares it with a package price if you add one.
How to use this tool
- Enter how many Robux you have or want.
- Pick the DevEx rate for those Robux (the standard rate covers most earnings).
- Enter today’s USD-to-AUD exchange rate.
- Optionally add a Robux package price and size from your Roblox app to see the buying cost.
Formula
AUD = Robux × DevEx rate (USD per Robux) × exchange rate (AUD per USD)
The standard DevEx rate is $0.0038 USD per Earned Robux. Robux earned before September 5, 2025 are paid at $0.0035 and are cashed out before standard-rate balances; eligible U.S. 18+ balances take priority. Since June 8, 2026, the $0.0054 rate applies only to certain Robux from developer products, passes, subscriptions and private servers bought by age-verified U.S. adults in eligible experiences.
Example
At the 30,000 Robux minimum, DevEx pays 30,000 × $0.0038 = $114.00 USD (the figure Roblox publishes). With 1.53 AUD per USD that becomes 114 × 1.53 = A$174.42, roughly A$5.81 per 1,000 Robux.
Frequently asked questions
Can I exchange Robux I bought with money?
No. Only Earned Robux — from passes, developer products, subscriptions or items you sell — can go through DevEx. Robux you bought, including with gift cards, cannot be cashed out.
What are the DevEx requirements?
You must be at least 13, have a verified email, hold 30,000 or more Earned Robux, have a DevEx portal account with the required tax form, and follow Roblox’s Terms of Use and Community Standards.
Why is buying Robux more expensive than the DevEx value?
The buying price covers Roblox’s costs and margin and, on phones and consoles, the store’s fee, while DevEx pays creators a fixed per-Robux rate. Add a package price to see how big the gap is for you.
Which exchange rate should I enter?
The one your bank or payout provider applies to US-dollar payments on the day the money arrives. It is usually a little worse than the mid-market rate shown online.
