Genshin Impact Wish Probability Calculator

Planning to save for a limited 5-star character? This calculator turns your Primogems, Intertwined Fates, current pity and 50/50 status into the probability of getting the featured character, from C0 up to C6. It also shows the average number of wishes you will need, the wishes for a 50% or 90% chance and the worst case if every 5-star lands on hard pity.

How to use this tool

1. Enter your Primogems and Intertwined Fates; every 160 Primogems count as one wish.
2. Enter your current pity from the wish history and tick the box if your next 5-star is guaranteed.
3. Choose your target constellation.
4. Read your chance, and use the table to see how many more wishes each extra 10% costs.

Formula

P(5★ on wish n) = 0.6% for n ≤ 73; 0.6% + 6% × (n − 73) for 74 ≤ n ≤ 89; 100% at n = 90

When a 5-star appears it is the featured character with the 50/50 chance (or 100% if guaranteed); otherwise the next one is guaranteed. The calculator tracks every pity and guarantee state wish by wish (a Markov chain) and adds up the probability of reaching your target copies.

Example

With 0 pity, no guarantee and a C0 target, the chance on a single wish is 0.6% × 50% = 0.3%. Under the default model, half reach the character by wish 80, the average is about 93 wishes, and the absolute worst case is 180 (losing the 50/50 at hard pity, then hitting hard pity again). For C6 the 50% mark moves to 654 wishes.
