Genshin Impact Pity Tracker & 5★ Odds

Genshin Impact's wish system has a memory: every wish without a 5★ raises your pity, and the 90th is guaranteed. This tracker takes the pity shown in your wish history, whether your next 5★ is guaranteed to be the featured character, and the Fates, Primogems and Starglitter you have saved, then works out a model estimates before the banner ends.

How to use this tool

1. Choose the banner and enter your current pity from the wish history.
2. Tick the box if you lost your last 50/50, so the next 5★ is guaranteed featured.
3. Enter your Fates, Primogems and Masterless Starglitter.
4. Read your odds, then use the table to see how they grow with more wishes.

Formula

p(n) = 0.6% for n ≤ 73, 0.6% + 6% × (n − 73) for 74–89, 100% at n = 90

n is the wish number since your last 5★. The 0.6% base rate and the hard pity at 90 are the official rates; the soft-pity ramp is the community model built from large wish datasets, and it reproduces the official 1.6% consolidated rate (an average of about 62 wishes per 5★). On the character banner a 5★ is the featured character 50% of the time, or always after a lost 50/50.

Example

At pity 40 with no guarantee, 10 Fates and 8,000 Primogems you have 60 wishes. Hard pity is 50 wishes away, so a 5★ is certain, but the chance it — or a second 5★ — is the featured character is about 57.2%. On average you need 33.9 more wishes for a 5★ and 65.0 for the featured one; to be certain of the featured character you need 140 wishes, or 12,800 more Primogems.
