Facebook Creator Earnings Calculator

Estimate monthly Facebook creator earnings from qualified views at your own rate per 1,000 views, Stars at 1 cent each and other income.

Content earnings ÷ qualified views × 1,000 from the same Professional dashboard report. The default is only an example.
Subscriptions, brand deals, affiliate commissions

Estimate Facebook content earnings from qualified views and a matching Earnings Rate, then add Stars and other creator income. Meta defines Earnings Rate as approximate earnings per 1,000 qualified views; public video starts are not the same denominator. The default rate is hypothetical and does not predict what an account will earn.

How to use this tool

  1. Enter qualified views for one reporting period from your Professional dashboard.
  2. Enter the matching Earnings Rate for those qualified views; exclude Stars and other income from this rate.
  3. Enter the Stars you receive in a month.
  4. Add subscriptions, brand deals or other income to see the total.

Formula

Monthly earnings = Views ÷ 1,000 × Earnings per 1,000 views + Stars × $0.01 + Other income

Keep the view count, rate and other income on the same monthly basis. The yearly scenario repeats the month twelve times. Avoid double-counting: do not add Stars or subscriptions again if they are already included in a custom rate. Earnings are gross, before costs, taxes and payout adjustments.

Example

A page has 300,000 qualified views a month at $1.00 per 1,000 views, which earns $300, and receives 5,000 Stars, worth $50. That is $350 a month, or $4,200 a year — $1.17 per 1,000 views once Stars are counted.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Facebook pay per 1,000 views?

There is no universal rate. Use the Earnings Rate and qualified-view denominator from the same dashboard report and period. A rate derived from all public views cannot be applied to qualified views without changing the basis.

How much is a Facebook Star worth?

Meta pays the creator 1 cent for every Star a fan sends, so 1,000 Stars are worth $10 to you. Fans pay more than that when they buy Stars.

Who can receive Stars?

Availability depends on your account, age, country, monetization status and current program rules. Check eligibility in the Professional dashboard. This calculator does not check those conditions or promise a payout.
