Merge PDF Files

Combine several PDF files into one document in the order you choose. Runs in your browser — files are not uploaded to any server.

Files are merged in the order you select them.

Merging PDFs is the quickest way to send one tidy document instead of a pile of attachments — scanned receipts, contract pages, chapters of a report. The pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable and quality does not change.

How to use this tool

  1. Select or drop the PDF files in the order they should appear.
  2. Optionally change the output file name.
  3. Press Calculate (or just drop the files) and download the merged PDF.

Formula

Each page of every input is copied, unchanged, into a new PDF in the order the files were chosen (pdf-lib copyPages).

Example

Merging a 3-page invoice and a 3-page delivery note gives one 6-page PDF: pages 1–3 are the invoice and pages 4–6 the delivery note.

What is kept

Text, images, fonts, page sizes and orientation are copied exactly. Bookmarks and form fields from the original files are not carried over, so check the merged file if you rely on fillable forms.

Frequently asked questions

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not directly. Remove the password first (you need to know it), then merge.

Is there a size limit?

Only your device's memory. Most phones handle a few hundred pages comfortably.

Are my files uploaded?

No — the merge happens inside your browser.
